According to the European Directive 94/9/WE concerning the devices destined to work in areas endangered by explosion our products are adapted to the requirements of this directive.
Our devices have certificates of type or row type (depending of needs and the version) tests established by the Notified Unit 1453. Each new device, according to needs, may have a realization of an individual certification process in reason of the predicted dangers.
The devices produced by us in special realization are marked by the symbol ED and as devices of the IInd group according to the ATEX Directive they are destined to be used on surface in areas endangered by an explosion of gas, vapors, fog or dust. The majority of our devices is adapted to work in the zone 0, in another words in the category I, where the explosion atmosphere is maintained constantly during a long time.
The realization of the estimation of the zone endangered by explosion present in a determined space belongs to the investor.
The realization of the classification of the devices to the proper categories of realization belongs to the device producer after receipt of the estimation of explosion danger by the investor

According to the level of explosive atmosphere presence induced by an air and gas, liquid, steam and dust mix the following zones endangered by an explosion and categories of device realization are determined:
